Hanah Paik is currently Asia Pacific Lead, Cities, States and Regions at CDP, an international NGO that focuses cities, regions, investors and companies on taking urgent action to build a truly sustainable economy by measuring and understanding their environmental impact. She joined CDP in 2014 to develop CDP’s cities programme in Asia Pacific, which expanded to include states and regions in 2017. In this role, Hanah works with local and subnational government stakeholders to accelerate ambitious climate and environmental action by ensuring that transparency, data and insights are at the heart of decision and policymaking in the transition to a climate safe, water secure, and deforestation free world.
Prior to this, Hanah worked for almost 8 years across both the private and non-profit sectors. After 4 years working at a fast-growing Software-as-a-Service company initially in sales and then as the first client relations manager for Asia, she joined a Hong Kong-based NGO to work with multinational corporations and SMEs on issues related to corporate social responsibility, community investment and sustainability.
Hanah received a bachelor’s degree in International Relations from Tufts University in the USA, and is currently based in Hong Kong.
