◆ About the Festival
GreenFest by Hysan is an annual festival. The festival aims to empower young adults to learn more about how to live sustainably and how to solve many of the environmental and social problems facing urban dwellers across Hong Kong and other global cities. This is achieved through experiential and educational workshops, student discussions and with the guidance of experienced facilitators.
“Close the Loop” is the unique programme under GreenFest by Hysan for November 28th & 29th 2020. Subsequent festivals titles and themes may change.
Expect a two-day immersive experience and some hands-on sessions, which will bring together Secondary and University students from across Hong Kong and other cities to explore aspects and applications of a circular economy.
Through a series of workshops, demonstrations and panel talks, participants will discuss issues surrounding our linear city systems, explore solutions and innovations to make them circular in order to design out waste, while utilizing and regenerating natural materials in order to preserve our planet and mitigate climate change. Topics such as living a zero waste lifestyle, food, technology, innovation, design, and sustainable fashion will be explored.
All talks and Workshops will be given in English only.
